"Is honesty the best policy?" I've been thinking about implementation regarding technology(i.e.-blogs in class, web page usage, web quests, information access, projectors, etc....) After witnessing many amazing colleagues and their constructivist approaches, I am contemplating. Where should I focus and spend my time creating? Quality is an operative word when thinking about students' education while using, implementing and managing technology? I must think and act.

I think that if you go with what sounds interesting, fun, engaging to you, it will impact students. Don't worry about what others are creating, Greg, you always raise the bar and elicit interesting dialogue with your students. You will find your niche. What I am found that if I take risks, kids rise the occasion and always meet the challenge. Think and act; good advice.
I agree with you that quality is important. When students (or anyone) can post on a blog, their ideas can look professional; we have to keep reminding them to make the content high quality as well. It's so easy to publish now, that lots of drivel gets out into the air. The same goes for PowerPoints and so forth. To cast the idea back to the 19th century, it doesn't matter how pretty the student's handwriting is -- there has to be some quality thought in there too.
Go out there and try new things. Michele has given me the permission to fall on my face and I encourage you to do as much as you are comfortable with, without leaving behond what makes Trotter-Trotter.
